Hẻm Kitchen & Bar in Bellaire is a gem for Vietnamese cuisine lovers. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a great spot for both casual and special occasions. I ordered the Sizzling Chicken Gizzard/Heart, Hẻm Fried Rice, Mini Egg Rolls, Thai Style Shrimp Raw (the sauce is delicious and the shrimp are fresh), Salt and Pepper Pork Ribs, and Baked Cheese Oyster. Service is friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. They are open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with extended hours until 11:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Snails are available only in the evening.

This place was soo good and the service was topnotch! I came with a large group to celebrate a birthday before heading out for karaoke. We arrived at 6:50 and waited for about 15 minutes to be seated. From the host to the server to the owner, everyone was really helpful and the service was fantastic. Would def recommend for some really tasty food. We ordered family-style and tried a mixed grilled meat plate, 5-spice beef, crispy pork belly, shrimp pineapple fried rice, and the fried chicken feet. The owners came and talked with us for a bit and were so friendly!

A must go place!! This restaurant gives you the tastiest Vietnamese street food. I got to try this place with my family and it was actually worth every penny. Form crispy pork belly.. to the dynamite mussels.. to the oysters.. papaya salad... garlic skewers... & many more street food items, everything tasted so good!! Each entree was about $16-20+.. not bad if you're doing family style anyway. The staff was fast and efficient, everything came out inna timely manner. I heard this place does get busy on weekends, but we came on a Tuesday night and it was not so busy! lol.. but the bathroom was pretty awesome- it had a huge selfie mirror with lighting features, as well as art and pictures all around the bathroom. I've never seen a bathroom like that before! Everything about the atmosphere and decor all had some meaning, almost like a glimpse of Vietnam. Which was cool to see. Side note- would love more truffle oil on the French fries!

Absolutely great food and work staff, and they have an excellent hot pot. However, the seating is limited and it is almost always packed.
